Refund Policy
Dash Coin is free to download and play. Optional in-app purchases — currency packs, the Dash Pass, and the No Ads upgrade — are sold and processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. Because they handle the transaction, all refund requests must go through their official refund channels, not through us.
- iOS purchase? Use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android purchase? Use Google Play's order history, then "Request a refund."
- Email us at support@dashcoin.dev if your purchase didn't deliver — we'll help.

What's Eligible for a Refund
Refunds may apply to in-app purchases made through Dash Coin, including:
- Currency packs — Starter Pack ($0.99), Coin Vault ($2.99).
- Dash Pass ($4.99) and similar one-time entitlements.
- No Ads ($2.99) upgrade.
Refund eligibility depends on Apple's and Google's policies, the time since purchase, whether the item has been consumed, and the reason for the request. Approval is at the platform's discretion — we do not control that decision.
Refunds on iOS (Apple App Store)
For purchases made on iPhone or iPad:
- Open reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Find the Dash Coin charge under Apps or In-App Purchases.
- Choose Request a refund and select the reason that best matches your situation.
- Apple typically responds within 24–48 hours.
You can also request a refund directly from the receipt email Apple sends after purchase.
Refunds on Android (Google Play)
For purchases made on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history.
- Find the Dash Coin charge and tap Request a refund.
- Follow the on-screen prompts. For purchases older than 48 hours, you may be redirected to Google Play support.
Google's automatic refund window is generally 48 hours after purchase. Older purchases may still be refunded at Google's discretion.
Failed Delivery & Lost Purchases
If you completed a purchase but did not receive the corresponding coins, gems, Dash Pass, or No Ads entitlement:
- Open Dash Coin and tap Restore Purchases in the Shop. This re-fetches entitlements from the store.
- If the item still doesn't appear, email support@dashcoin.dev with your store receipt (from Apple or Google), the device you used, and a brief description.
- We can usually verify the purchase via the store and help restore it. If we can't restore the item, we will help you file a refund with Apple or Google.
Virtual Currency & Used Items
Virtual currency (coins, gems) and consumable items are typically considered used the moment they are delivered to your account, because they immediately credit to your save. As a result:
- Currency packs that have already been added to your balance may not be refundable.
- If you have already spent coins or gems, refunding the purchase will not "un-spend" the items already consumed.
- The No Ads entitlement persists across reinstalls on the same store account; restoring purchases will recover it.
This is consistent with Apple's and Google's policies on consumable in-app purchases.
Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
If a subscription product is offered (current build does not), the renewal cycle, free trial length, and price will be shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. You can cancel a subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dash Coin → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dash Coin → Cancel.
Cancelling stops future renewals. The current paid period continues until it expires.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of going through Apple or Google may result in your store account being temporarily restricted, which can in turn prevent Dash Coin from delivering or restoring entitlements. We strongly recommend using the official Apple / Google refund channels first.
Statutory Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of your country (for example, EU 14-day cooling-off rights for digital content, where applicable, or local equivalents in the UK, Australia, India, and other markets). Where local law grants you additional refund rights, those rights apply.
